SOUTH CHARLESTON, W. Va. – BridgeValley Community and Technical College President Dr. Casey K. Sacks has been officially invited to serve as one of only 14 U.S. delegates to Bett UK 2026, the world’s leading global education technology conference, taking place January 19–23, 2026, in London, England.
Dr. Sacks will represent BridgeValley and U.S. higher education as part of the U.S. Delegation at Bett’s Global Education Week, an invitation-only program convening international ministers, policymakers, and education leaders from more than 130 countries. The invitation was extended by Bett Global, with support from the UK Department for Education and the UK Department for Business and Trade.
“Being selected for the U.S. Delegation at Bett UK is a tremendous honor,” said Dr. Sacks. “This opportunity allows BridgeValley to contribute to critical global conversations around education technology, workforce development, and lifelong learning—areas that are central to our mission and to the future of education.”
In 2026, Bett will introduce a new Ministerial Symposium, a high-level, action-oriented forum focused on innovation, equity, and system transformation across K–12, higher education, and workforce upskilling.
As a delegate, Dr. Sacks will participate in plenary sessions, policy roundtables, bilateral meetings, international site visits, and direct engagement with global education and edtech leaders, while fostering collaboration between U.S. colleges and American education technology companies at Bett’s Global Showcase and USA Pavilion.
