SOUTH CHARLESTON, W. Va. – BridgeValley Community and Technical College President Dr. Casey K. Sacks has been invited to participate in a White House Education Compact Roundtable on Wednesday, November 19, focused on strengthening efficiency, accountability, and workforce alignment across American higher education.
Hosted by the White House Office of Public Liaison, the roundtable will bring together select higher education leaders, policy officials, and workforce partners for a focused discussion on improving outcomes for students and families.
Dr. Sacks will share BridgeValley’s experience as a community college that operates efficiently, responds quickly to workforce needs, and maintains strong employer partnerships that guide program design and graduate readiness.
“Community colleges demonstrate every day that higher education can be both efficient and highly effective,”Dr. Sacks said. “Our programs are built in direct collaboration with employers, and our success is measured by whether students find good jobs in their field. I look forward to highlighting the community college model and the important role we play in workforce development.”
The roundtable is part of a national effort to spotlight institutions that deliver strong returns on investment for students and taxpayers while adapting to evolving workforce demands.
