South Charleston, W.Va. — BridgeValley Community and Technical College is pleased to announce the full-time appointment of Dr. Sarah Kelly as Assistant Vice President of Assessment and Accreditation.

A member of the BridgeValley community since 2014, Dr. Kelly has played a vital role in advancing academic quality, program assessment, and accreditation initiatives across the college. She previously served as Dean of Allied Health and brings more than 20 years of combined experience in healthcare, higher education, and institutional leadership. Her academic background includes a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Management and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing.

Throughout her tenure, she has championed continuous improvement in academic programs, applying data-driven approaches to strengthen institutional effectiveness and ensure excellence in student outcomes. After serving in the interim Assistant Vice President role since June 2024, she now steps into the position full-time.

Dr. Kelly noted, “BridgeValley has a strong foundation of high-quality programs that support our local workforce needs, and I look forward to working with our faculty and staff to continue advancing student success and institutional growth.”
