Over 3,100 attendees enjoy an evening of games, treats, and community at South Charleston campus

South Charleston, W.Va. BridgeValley Community and Technical College and WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals co-hosted the annual Family Fun Night on Friday, October 17, 2025, drawing more than 3,100 community members to BridgeValley’s main campus in South Charleston.

The free event brought families from across the Kanawha Valley together for an evening filled with fall festivities, including a Trunk or Treat, live DJ, rock climbing wall, costume contest, and interactive games provided by Quantum Party Rentals. Guests also enjoyed complimentary pizza, popcorn, slushies, and Huskey’s ice cream, courtesy of event sponsors and volunteers.

“Family Fun Night is one of our favorite traditions because it brings our campus and community together in such a positive way,” said Carla Blankenbuehler, Dean of Students at BridgeValley Community and Technical College. “We’re grateful to WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals and all our partners who helped make this year’s event the biggest and best yet.”

The annual event continues to grow each year, providing a safe and festive space for families to celebrate the fall season while learning more about BridgeValley’s programs and community partnerships.
