SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. - BridgeValley Community & Technical College will host its 2025 Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, beginning at 6:00 PM. Doors open to the public at 5:00 PM.
The event will feature Chief Judge Thomas S. Kleeh, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, as the Commencement Speaker.
"We are honored to welcome Chief Judge Kleeh to address our graduates,” said BridgeValley President Dr. Casey K. Sacks. “His leadership and service to our state make him a powerful example of public commitment and professionalism."
The ceremony will also include Christopher Grady as the Student Speaker. Grady served as President of the Student Government Association during the academic year.
“Christopher has been a tremendous leader and advocate for his fellow students,” said Sacks. “We’re excited to hear his message and celebrate his accomplishments.”
More than 300 students are expected to graduate from BridgeValley this year, representing programs in health sciences, business, applied technology, information technology, and more.
“Our graduates have demonstrated resilience, focus, and a dedication to their goals,” said Sacks. “We couldn’t be prouder of their achievements and look forward to their bright futures.”
