Student Life
Office of Student Life
The Office of Student Life is responsible for the personal development of students on campus. At BridgeValley, we believe that the leadership experience and social engagement gained outside the classroom is just as important to a student's college experience as what they learn inside the classroom. It is Student Life's responsibility to provide quality campus programming to enrich the lives of our students and we do that by hosting campus events and activities, promoting nearly 20 student organizations, and providing community service opportunities year-round.
Student Organzations:
The college has a variety of campus organizations and special interest groups open to its students. For detailed information about our student organizations, including contact information, please use the links on the left. Can’t find a club that suits your interests? Petition to start a new organization! For more information, please refer to the Student Organization Handbook.

The Office of Student Life works closely with the Student Government Association (SGA) to schedule a variety of campus events throughout the academic year. Every fall and spring, the SGA sponsors Welcome Week, CLUB RUSH, Midterm Madness, and Finals Fuel Up. Additional events in the fall include a Family Night, a Chili Cook-Off, Boo Bash Halloween celebration, and trivia nights. Spring events include a second Family Night, and Grad Bash to celebrate the graduating class. The Office of Student Life routinely sponsors various trips, both inside and outside of the state, to enrich students social and cultural experiences. Other student organizations sponsor activities and events as well. All event notices are posted on the website calendar and are included in the electronic student newsletter which is distributed every Monday during the academic year.
Beyond campus events, the Office of Student Life is home to the Student Ambassadors program. As an Ambassador, students serve as official goodwill representatives of BridgeValley, available to assist their peers with questions, conduct campus tours, staff information tables, guide new students at orientation, and help with event planning. For more information or to obtain an application, please visit the Student Ambassadors page.
