SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. - BridgeValley Community and Technical College (BVCTC) will recognize its 2025 graduates on Friday, May 9 at 6:00 PM at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Doors open to the public at 5:00 PM.
This year’s ceremony will feature Chief Judge Thomas S. Kleeh, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, as the Commencement Speaker. Chief Judge Kleeh, appointed in 2018, is known for his leadership and dedication to justice in the state of West Virginia.
Also addressing the graduating class will be Christopher Grady, Outgoing President of the Student Government Association, who will serve as the Student Speaker.
“We are incredibly proud of our graduates and excited to celebrate their achievements,” said Dr. Casey K. Sacks, President of BridgeValley. “These students represent the very best of what our college stands for—resilience, innovation, and a commitment to improving their communities.”
The ceremony will recognize students earning associate degrees and certificates across a wide range of programs, including health sciences, applied technology, business, and liberal arts.
