The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Health Sciences program is designed to provide
students with a comprehensive foundation in the healthcare field. The curriculum combines
theoretical knowledge with hands-on training, preparing graduates for a variety of
roles in healthcare settings. Students will learn essential concepts in human biology,
medical terminology, healthcare ethics, patient care, and clinical practices. Students
have the opportunity to take a wide variety of electives to apply to selective admission
programs (Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy,
Sonography, Veterinary Technology), enter the workforce, or transfer to a four-year
institution.
