Call for Submissions
BridgeValley is seeking poetry, prose, and visual art submissions that deal with life during the pandemic. The theme for this year’s submissions is “Remembering the Darkness to Reach the Light.”

$100 for first, $50 for second, and gift cards for honorable mention in each genre!

The Rules:
Entrants can upload poetry (up to three separate submissions), prose (up to twenty pages, one submission only), and visual art (up to three separate submissions). Entrants can submit in multiple genres. In the file uploader below, entrants will list their name, contact information, title of submission, and the category that they are entering. Important: Please make sure that the entrant’s name doesn’t appear anywhere on the actual submission. All work must be original and previously unpublished. All decisions by the judges are final. Poetry can be any form, traditional or free verse. Prose can consist of nonfiction or fiction. Visual Art can be photography or images of one’s artwork. The deadline for all submissions is September 27, 2021.
